7:00 PM COP Challenge/Bridgton Academy Ringers Basketball Game to benefit the Choices Program sponsored by the Bridgton Police Department. Donations appreciated.

 

Saturday, January 23, 2010

•  8:00 AM to 10:00 AM there will be a pancake breakfast the the First Congregational Church on S. High Street, Bridgton.

•  Mushers Bowl Dogsled Races and Skijoring at Five Fields Farm, Rt 107 Bridgton, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM with Winter Carnival Button

•  Horse Drawn Rides (free with button) 10:00 – 3:00 PM

•  Ping Pong Tournament at Bridgton Town Hall, N High Street, 10:00 to 4:00 PM (Click Here To Download Entry Form)

•  Ice Fishing Contest (free with button) at Highland Lake, Bridgton. Ages up to 16 , 10:00 to 2:00 PM

•  Dog sled rides at Highland Lake, Bridgton, $25. Per half hour, 10:00-2:30 PM

•  Snowmobile rides at Highland Lake Beach 10:00 to 4:00 PM provided by the Bridgton Easy Riders Snowmobile Club, Donations appreciated

•  Mid Winter Massacre dodge ball at Bridgton Academy 9:00 – 11:00 AM (Click Here To Download Entry Form)

•  Snow Shoe hike at Bald Pate Mountain (free with button) led by Loon Echo Land Trust at 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon--snow shoes provided

•  Sleigh rides at Five Fields Farm 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM provided by S. Bridgton Congregational Church. Donations appreciated.
(Off Fosterville Road one mile before Five Field Farms on Rt. 107. See Race track map for directions.) 

•  Nature hike Pondicherry Park (free with button) led by LEA Naturalist 2:00-3:00 PM — snow shoes provided

•  “Freezing for a Reason” at Highland Beach. Registration begins at 11:00 and polar dip is at 1:00 PM for benefit of Animal Hills Animal Shelter

•  Hot lunch at Bridgton Community Center 12:00 to 2:00 PM

•  Baked Bean supper provided by Bridgton Lions at St Joseph's Church 5:00 to 6:30 PM

•  “Telemark skiing” at Shawnee Peak 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM (You must have lift ticket or season pass to participate)

•  Sing and Ski with WBZ at Shawnee Peak après ski party, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

•  4:30 PM to 7:00 PM there will be a Chili and Chowder Supper at the Masonic Hall on the Harrison road (RT 117) Bridgton, sponsored by the Oriental Masonic Lodge.
